Tom Kitchin is a survivor. He moved to Paris at 21 without being able to speak a word of French and worked in some of the toughest kitchens around.

The hardship he endured was worth it. He won a Michelin star just one month after opening his restaurant – The Kitchin – making him the youngest Scot to receive the coveted award.

Because he works with seasonality in his cooking, Kitchin is constantly traversing rolling mountains, tight lanes, and coastal routes in search of the best produce. It is no wonder that he has a taste for the Lexus RX – a vehicle that excels in such terrains.

The enchanting region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia lies in the north of Italy and has a rich multicultural heritage. It is the home of cerebral chef Antonia Klugmann.

Antonia, who is of Austrian-Jewish and Pugliese descent, takes inspiration from the region’s rustic culinary traditions to create the menu at her Michelin-starred restaurant L’Argine A Venco.

The food she makes is creative yet pays homage to her diverse roots — diners are often moved to tears by her sincere, seasonal dishes. Describing her style as personal, pure, and unpretentious, Antonia’s cooking never stops evolving, much like her vehicle of choice, the Lexus ES.
